Meals-on-Wheels

You need to be old enough to drive and have some daytime hours free to participate. If you've got young children at home, they will add to the ministry with their joy and cheer.

What

You can be a driver for Meals-on-Wheels and provied for the LHUMC area one week out of every six. You'll deliver these life-sustaining meals to many folks who are homebound and unable to prepare meals for themselves.

Receipients appreciate the healthy, hot meal, but your company and warm smile is particularly meaningful to them.

When & Where

Check the calendar for dates and sign up on the Church Bulletin Board.

Commitment

Volunteer as you can volunteer. You'll need a car and about two-hours time.
