What
Are you happy with a hammer in your hand? Maybe you enjoy tinkering with things that require a drop of oil or a slight adjustment. Or if you're comfortable calling contractors, assessing maintenance needs or identifying building improvements, jump right in.We need your skills! We even need everyone for occasional building clean-ups and garden or landscaping maintenance.The Trustees Ministry Team cares for the building, equipment and grounds of LHUMC.
Church Officers
We are also the officers of the church, so we do the boring stuff like acquiring insurance and dealing with any property or legal issues that are concerns to the church. From day-to-day, the Trustees help identify improvements and repairs needed for the facility and grounds, and hire individual or companies who do some regular maintenance (such as performing janitorial and lawn services).
You can lend a hand
Much of the care and maintenance of the church is done by its members such as making minor repairs, changing light bulbs, taping window film to keep out the cold, rewiring electrical outlets and landscaping the grounds. We sure could use your help!
