SUMMARY:All My Days Sermon Series
DESCRIPTION:“All My Days” is an eight-week journey into a deeper\, steadier life of prayer. Together\, we will explore practices of presence\, praise\, purpose\, petition\, pardon\, protection\, and persistence—learning how to carry conversation with God into every part of our lives. Grounded in the invitation to “be still and know\,” this series will help us discover that prayer is not just something we do\, but a way we live—every moment\, all day long. \nIn this worship series\, we will explore the ancient and cross-traditional use of prayer beads as a way to connect with the Holy and with each other for\n“all our days.” \n\nApril 12\, 2026 Be Still and Know\nApril 19\, 2026 Presence\nApril 26\, 2026 Praise\nMay 3\, 2026 – Communion Purpose\nMay 10\, 2026 (Mother’s Day) Petition\nMay 17\, 2026 Pardon\nMay 24\, 2026 (Pentecost) Protection\nMay 31\, 2026 – Communion Persistence

SUMMARY:Easter Sunday - 11am
DESCRIPTION:Easter – no Communion\nApril 5\, 2026 – “Love Wins” \nHebrews 2:14-15\, 1 John 3:8\, John 20:21\, Romans 7:4 \nWe might expect that\, after denying Christ\, Peter would cower in shame—or perhaps even run away in an attempt to leave his past behind him. Instead\, when he hears the news from the women\, he doesn’t dismiss them like the other disciples. He gets up and runs to the tomb. When he peers into the empty tomb and sees the linen cloth\, he is filled with awe. Even after the biggest failures\, even after the worst case scenario has happened\, can we run toward hope? Like Peter\, will we keep going? Will we keep looking for God in our midst? \nJoin us for worship on this day of celebration: “He is Risen!” either at 9:30 am or 11 am.

SUMMARY:Palm Sunday Worship Service
DESCRIPTION:March 29\, 2026 – Week 6 – Palm Sunday\nLiturgy of Palms and Passion \nPalm Readings: Matthew 21:1-11\, Psalm 118:1-2\nPassion readings: Isaiah 50:4-9a\, Psalm 31:9-16\, Philippians 2:5-11\, Matthew 26:14-27:66 \nAs Holy week begins\, Peter is no longer front and center\, and so we imagine he is with the rest of the disciples when Jesus enters Jerusalem on a colt. The disciples are confused as they witness crowds shouting hosannas. When they look back on this experience\, they will remember the songs. The singing is surely etched in their memories. As we imagine ourselves in the crowd on this day\, may we remember that they are supposed to be praising Caesar\, but instead they are shouting for the one entering the city on a donkey. Their singing is subversive\, courageous\, and contagious. Their praise shows the ripple effect of public displays of praise. \nOnline worship

SUMMARY:J is for Justice! We Cry Justice Speaker
DESCRIPTION:January 4\, 10:30am – Introduction \nJ is for Justice! Join us after worship for an introduction to We Cry Justice: Reading the Bible with the Poor People’s Campaign by Liz Theoharis. Kristin Linder-Brown will lead us through a contemplative practice using the text. There will be an opportunity to purchase a copy of the book for an all-church read. From Genesis to Revelation\, the Bible proclaims justice and abundance for the poor. Yet these powerful passages about poverty are frequently overlooked and misinterpreted. \nEnter the Poor People’s Campaign\, a movement against racism\, poverty\, ecological devastation\, militarism\, and religious nationalism. In We Cry Justice\, Liz Theoharis\, co-chair of the campaign\, is joined by pastors\, community organizers\, scholars\, low-wage workers\, lay leaders\, and people in poverty to interpret sacred stories about the poor seeking healing\, equity\, and freedom. In a world roiled by poverty and injustice\, Scripture still speaks. \nOrganized into fifty-two chapters\, each focusing on a key Scripture passage\, We Cry Justice offers comfort and challenge from the many stories of the poor taking action together. Read anew the story of the exodus that frees people from debt and slavery\, the prophets who denounce the rich and ruling classes\, the stories of Jesus’s healing and parables about fair wages\, and the early church’s sharing of goods. \nThe Bible cries for justice\, and we do too. It’s time to act on God’s persistent call to repair the breach and fight poverty\, not the poor.

SUMMARY:Advent 2025
DESCRIPTION:Heaven and Nature Sign! 300 Years of Joy to the World\nAdvent begins on November 30th. Advent is the four weeks before Christmas. In the church year\, Advent is a season of preparation and repentance. Advent focuses on the coming of Christ and of his return. During Advent\, we’re anticipating the full realization of something that began at the first Christmas when God came to us in the flesh as Emmanuel. The work of Advent began then\, but isn’t yet fully realized. \nEach week\, we’ll light a candle on the Advent wreath and center on the theme of “Heaven and Nature Sing” from the beloved Christmas carol “Joy to the World”. \nComposer Isaac Watt’s interpretation of Psalm 98 invites us to sing a “new song”–and it is a powerful cosmic performance of all creation being renewed and freed. Rather than “joy” being yet another word for “happiness\,” we will discover that the depths of joy can be found especially in the midst of suffering\, the work of justice\, and the presence of compassion–all part of the coming of Jesus to this world and a message the world still so desperately needs. \n\nNov. 30 – “Prepare Him Room – Hopeful Joy”\nDec. 7 – “Repeat the Sounding Joy – Hopeful Joy”\nDec. 14 – “Make the Blessing Known – Unabashed Joy”\nThurs.\, Dec. 18\, 6:30pm – The Longest Night Service\nDec. 21 – “Make the Nations Prove – Peaceful Joy”\nDec. 24 – Christmas Eve\n\n1:00pm – Traditional: Carols\, Candles\, and Communion\n4:00pm – Family Friendly\n10:00pm – Candlelight\n\n\n\nAdvent Offerings \nThis year’s offerings are below. Give to one or if you would like to give to two or all three\, that is possible on one form. Click a form below\, add how much you would like to give and then click the “+Another Fund” to add another line for an additional gift. Thank you for your continued support! \n\nUnited Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR): donate to be a part of the domestic effort to be the humanitarian response for disaster relief in the US. In 2024\, 134 crises were helped\, more than 454\,000 lives were directly touched\, and more than 187 grants were awarded\, totaling more than $37 million. GIVE TO UMCOR\n\n\nFeed My Starving Children: Support our global cause and support the MobilePack events and more than 1 million volunteers that come together for the mission to End Extreme Hunger.
