A Conversation about Affordable Housing in Southwest Minneapolis
Lake Harriet United Methodist Church, along with the Southwest Alliance for Equity, will be hosting an event titled, “No Place Like Home: A Conversation About Affordable Housing in Southwest Minneapolis,” moderated by award-winning journalist and filmmaker, and Lake Harriet UMC member, Lindsey Seavert. The event will include information about the current state of affordable housing in Southwest Minneapolis. We will hear about the ways different levels of government are working on housing, and we will learn how the community can support policymakers in their role toward improving affordable housing options in our community.
