Whether you now have an empty nest or you have just started launching and still have some at home, this is a chance to connect with others navigating this life transition. Share experiences, find support, and discover new ways to embrace this next chapter with understanding and camaraderie.
Janelle Jordan and Lorrie Sandelin are excited to co-facilitate the Beyond the Nest group again this year, and we’d love for you to join us!
Based on what we learned last year, we’ve decided to try something new: instead of using a book, each meeting will center around a specific topic with a short resource (article, podcast, or video) to read or watch beforehand. This way, the discussions will be more flexible and welcoming—perfect if you want to drop in when you can.
This Fall we will meet once a month to work around Holidays and then beginning in January we will meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm, at LHUMC in the Fireside room.
Fall Meeting Dates: Thursday Oct 23 @ 6:30 pm, Thursday November 20 @ 6:30 pm and Thursday December 11 @ 6:30 pm. Then beginning Thurs January 8, twice a month.
